Retirement Stock

 

Brief: 

E*TRADE wanted a digital video to raise awareness of their retirement planning offerings. 

Solution:

With smiling retirees on beautiful beaches, most retirement ads are so cliché that they're almost a parody of themselves. We decided to get rid of the “almost.” Using stock photography, we created a monologue satirizing generic retirement ads, and the retirement plans that accompany them. 

 

Results:

Released in July 2018, the ad tested extremely well and was released as a partnership with the satirical website, The Onion.
